
Together with its five affiliated foundations in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, we form the EPSD association dedicated to promotion of activities focused on protection of environment, communities and the whole society. Ever since its establishment in 1991, the six EPSD’s member foundations in the region of Central and Eastern Europe have helped to finance projects exceeding USD 17 million in total.
The aim of UNEP (UN Environment Programme) is to promote and coordinate environmental protection activities at international level and to assist in enforcement of adopted documents, especially Agenda 21 and other international conventions. UNEP was founded by the UN General Assembly in 1972 as an outcome of the first international environmental conference that took place in Stockholm in 1972. The Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation is a member of UNEP Czech National Committee.
EGWA was founded in 1997 at the occasion of the first international conference called Soft Traffic and Railway Paths and focuses on preservation of original historic paths, old disused roads, railway corridors etc. and their transformation into cycle routes, and also on international expertise exchange and promotion of non-motorised transport.
The CEPF as the only Czech member in the ECF acts on behalf of the cycling public. Key projects and campaigns organised by ECF include the development of long-distance cycle routes EuroVelo in Europe, promotion of urban cycling and cycle tourism or improvement of services for cyclists (railway bicycle transport, accommodation and food services etc.).
Carpathian initiative CERI is an international network comprising non-profit organisation from seven Carpathian countries working towards a common vision for conservation and sustainable development of the Carpathians. The CEPF acts as a national contact point of the Carpathian eco-region in the Czech Republic.
Forum darcu (Czech Donors Forum) is a civil association of major donors in the Czech Republic (foundations, endowed foundations and corporate donors) and its mission is to support philanthropy in the Czech Republic. It creates favourable conditions for donating on individual, institutional, community and corporate levels.
